My name is Andrea Casini and I am currently employed by Sinthera S.r.l. as a VMware Specialist as part of the Citrix Group.

I’ve been working in the IT industry for over 12 years designing, implementing and managing IT infrastructures for my employer’s customers.

Starting my professional carrer as a Microsoft Certified Professional on Windows NT 4.0, I achieved several other Microsoft certifications on Windows 2000 and Windows 2003; IBM software certification on Lotus Notes and several hardware certification on IBM x86 platform such as System X, BladeCenter, TotalStorage family, Storwize v7000 and recently the PureFlex Family; VMware VCP 3/4/5, VTSP 3/4/5 and VCP-DT 5.

All the technology I’m passionate about is somehow related to VMware and the revolution they started with virtualization. My main focus at the moment is the End User Computing products by VMware and Citrix.
